The action never stops in this third book in the Kensington-Gerard series. This time evidence indicates that someone is copying the crimes of a never -captured serial killer. As Zach and Jessie follow every lead, they face the additional pressure of deciding on the future of their relationship. This book was packed with twists and turns and plenty of action. This book is highly recommended to those who like suspense with a lot of questions with answers not always what is expected. I enjoyed this book so much!

I loved this story and the new thriller touches KT added. Mysteries/thrillers are definitely my thing and I can't wait for the next one. This being the third in her series, I'm telling you, I've become so invested in these characters, that they've become members of my family. I really do care what happens to them and their relationship. I don't want to give anything away, but I was really worried about Zach this time.
As an avid reader of crime novels, I'm one of those people who can usually predict the killer, but I wound up being wrong each time. The other thing that really intrigued me was the fact that this was based on a true story and had me searching the web for the news clippings to see just how much she changed. She may have added a lot to it, but KTs ending came to a satisfactory conclusion. The true story did not.
If you like edge of your seat crime stories, I highly recommend this book!

In this fast-paced story Kensington and Gerard have gone back to being homicide detectives and partners as they are no longer a couple. Tate aka "Jesse" can't give her heart completely to Zachary but as the victims in the case they are working on begin to pile up the walls Jesse has built up have begun to crack. She finds that the feelings she has for Zachary run deep and that she doesn't want to see him with anyone else but she can't give him what he wants her 'heart'. As they delve into the mind of a serial killer the killer begins to stalk set his eyes on one of his next targets: Detective Jesse Kensington. Jesse is a tough as nails detective and won't give in to anyone especially a killer. When Zachary puts his life on the line to save an innocent child will Jesse finally be able to give him her heart? Once again K.T. Roberts does an amazing job taking a real-life event and turning it into a story with twists and turns with an ending that will leave you speechless. I so hope this series continues.
